Chief Systems Engineer, QinetiQ
David Venn is the Chief Systems Engineer for System Delivery Services (SDS) Division within QinetiQ. His responsibilities include business improvement and capability development within a project management and system engineering based organisation. He was the natural choice to lead the CMMI initiative within SDS reaching CMMI Maturity Level 3 in September 2008. With over 25 years experience in the military test and evaluation arena David has fulfilled may technical and managerial roles. An example achievement is the development, from scratch, of a business unit of 50 staff providing System Engineering consultancy to MOD Integrated Project Teams.
