David Piper

David Piper has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years. He is a Managing Consultant in the Lamri consultancy team and an SEI Authorized Instructor. With experience in the use of UML and its application to Service Oriented applications, David is co-author of "Service- and Component-Based Development" which describes a DSDM-based approach to the construction of service-oriented applications. With experience of working in the UK, Europe and USA, David has been mentoring the creation of a new Service Centre in a challenging systems development and integration environment. Using the CMMI Services Constellation to define the processes of the Service Centre itself, and providing business improvement support services, including mentoring and appraisal, to the rest of the development organization.
